Column Math

What it does

Evaluates a formula per coin over up to four wired columns named a, b, c and d.

What happens

Used only inside a Universe. It runs at the universe's refresh or pick instants over every allowed coin, using only data that had closed by then, and its wires carry coin sets, per-coin columns or selections rather than one value per bar.

When to use

Ratios such as return ÷ volatility.

Gotchas

• Refer to inputs as a–d, not by column name.
• The formula is parsed once when the universe compiles.
