Exchange Coins

What it does

Starts a Universe's coin set with every coin on the exchange, market and quote asset you choose — including coins delisted later, on the days they were still trading.

What happens

Used only inside a Universe. It runs at the universe's refresh or pick instants over every allowed coin, using only data that had closed by then, and its wires carry coin sets, per-coin columns or selections rather than one value per bar.

When to use

The usual first step of a coin set; narrow it with filters after.

Gotchas

• Survivorship-free on purpose: a backtest sees the coins that existed then, not today's list.
• Add a liquidity filter before trading anything it picks.
