Coin Column

What it does

Names a value computed per coin by an ordinary strategy chain (price, indicators, math) that runs once for each allowed coin.

What happens

Used only inside a Universe. It runs at the universe's refresh or pick instants over every allowed coin, using only data that had closed by then, and its wires carry coin sets, per-coin columns or selections rather than one value per bar.

When to use

Every score the picker ranks starts here, e.g. a 28-bar return or 30-day volatility.

Gotchas

• Action and display nodes are not allowed in the chain.
• A coin is 'warming' — never ranked — until its chain has enough history.
