What it does
Counts bars of the strategy's timeframe since the last pick.
What happens
Read from the engine's live execution context each candle — it reflects the current run (position, equity, time, trade history), not a computed indicator.
When to use
Only enter early in the holding period, or tighten exits as the next pick approaches.
Gotchas
- Reads -1 when the strategy runs on its own.
- Counts the strategy's timeframe, not days.
