Spera has an AI copilot built into the Strategy Builder. You describe what you want in plain language; it proposes and wires the nodes, explains what a configuration does, finds existing strategies to reuse, and can check that what it built matches what you asked.
It accelerates judgment, not replaces it
The AI is a fast pair-builder. You stay in control: review every change it proposes, run a backtest, and trust the record — not the chat.
What it can do
- Build — turn a description ("enter long when RSI crosses below 30, 2% stop") into a wired strategy graph.
- Edit — change an existing strategy in place: add a filter, swap an indicator, adjust risk.
- Explain — tell you what a node or configuration does and why.
- Discover — search existing strategies and reusable modules you can clone instead of building from scratch.
- Build custom nodes — generate a reusable custom node when the built-in ones don't cover your idea.
- Verify — run the strategy and check that its behavior actually matches your request.
Where to find it
The AI lives in the Builder as a chat panel, and you can summon it with the command palette (Cmd/Ctrl + K). It always works against your current strategy — what's on the deck — so its suggestions are grounded in what you're actually building.
What it won't do
It won't trade for you, move money, or promise profit. It builds and checks strategies; deploying, paper trading, and going live are deliberate steps you take. See Paper trading & Fleet.
